Why Central Africa, why now

Six countries. One currency. One front door: Douala.

The CEMAC bloc shares a customs union and the CFA franc, and its landlocked economies are supplied through Cameroon’s ports. Demand for parcels and cross-border e-commerce is growing faster than the logistics that serve it.

How we work

Asset-light by design.

We ran our own articulated trucks across Central Africa for years. We learned that customers don’t pay for idle trucks — they pay for control. So we kept the control and contract the capacity.

  1. 01

    One control tower

A single Transconnecta coordinator owns your shipment from quotation to proof of delivery, in your language.

  2. 02

    Vetted capacity on demand

Trucks, vans, riders, brokers and warehouses are contracted from a network we have worked with for over a decade — scaled up or down with your volume.

  3. 03

    Milestones you can see

Pickup, departure, border, arrival and delivery are confirmed on WhatsApp or e-mail, with photos and signed proof of delivery.

  4. 04

    Settled and reconciled

Clear quotations, one invoice, and for cash-on-delivery a reconciled statement with every remittance.

Network

The corridors that feed a region.

Chad and the Central African Republic have no coastline; most of what they import lands in Cameroon first. These are the lanes we plan every day.

On the ground

Real capacity, contracted — not idle.

Long-haul tractors, container chassis and high-sided trailers from partner carriers that run the Douala corridors every week.

Vehicles shown belong to contracted partner carriers in our network. Transconnecta operates asset-light: we plan, contract and control the move; vetted carriers provide the wheels.

The team

The people behind the network.

Logistics in Central Africa runs on relationships. These are the colleagues who plan, negotiate, document and follow every move.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What does Transconnecta do?

Transconnecta is a logistics company based in Douala, Cameroon. We organise freight forwarding by air, sea and road, customs clearance and CEMAC transit through licensed brokers, express courier, e-commerce fulfilment and last-mile delivery across Cameroon and Central Africa.

What does “asset-light” mean for my shipment?

It means we do not tie your cargo to a fleet we need to keep busy. We select the right vetted carrier, broker or rider for each move, contract them under our responsibility, and stay accountable to you for the result.

Which countries do you cover?

Cameroon first, and from Douala the CEMAC corridors to Chad, the Central African Republic, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and the Republic of the Congo, plus the Nigeria–Cameroon border lane. International freight arrives from China, Europe and the Gulf.

Can you ship goods from China to Cameroon?

Yes. We arrange supplier pickup and consolidation in China, air or sea line-haul to Douala, customs clearance through a licensed broker, and delivery to your door or a relay point. See our China–Cameroon page for the steps.

Do you offer cash on delivery?

Cash on delivery is part of our last-mile service as it rolls out, with collection in cash, MTN Mobile Money or Orange Money and a reconciled remittance to the seller on a fixed schedule.

How do I get a quote?

Send us a WhatsApp message or call +237 6 96 93 75 13, or use the quote form. Tell us the origin, destination, what you are shipping, and the approximate weight and volume.

Tell us what needs to move.

Send the origin, the destination and what you are shipping. A person — not a bot — replies with a route, a price and a timeline.
